How to Write an eBook Sales Page That Sells!

You will also want to create an ebook marketing plan to get people to that sales page. Just posting it on those sites is not enough.

On your marketing page you'll want to have your graphics, testimonials and product copy. You'll also want to have a link to your payment system. You can use PayPal, Paydot.com or anything else you like. When you set up your merchant account you'll point the payment completion link to the RapidShare ebook URL that you were provided. You'll want to follow up with your customers with an email response of some sort. You will also want to collect their name and email account for future marketing.

Do you know how to write an eBook marketing page that will force your viewer to become a buying customer? Your eBook marketing page is the "make it or break it" part of whether you can convert your viewer from an interested and curious reader to a buying customer. As a result you must identify with the important principles of writing a compelling sales copy page for your eBook.

There are a number of key points to writing a successful product page. I failed to recognise this early on when I tried selling my eBooks. As a result I wasted a lot of time and effort for little return. The following guidelines will give you a head start over your fellow authors.

Get Their Attention!

Many expert advertisement writers and copywriters use a model called "AIDA" to gauge the effectiveness of the ads they're writing.

I have added an "S" to this model to include "Satisfaction" (now AIDAS). If your eBook advertisement ticks the "AIDAS" boxes then you will increase your chances of making the sale.

A - Action

Lead customers towards taking action and purchasing your eBook. Tell them what to do, and how to do it.

Examples:

1. "Buy Now"

2. "Enter your Details Here"

3. Compelling Copy

Provide the reader with some valuable information just for visiting your web page. This also includes listing the benefits of your product and how it can help them solve their problem. If possible, provide some real life examples of success. Tell the customer why they should buy the product.

Format:

1. Grammar and spelling must be perfect.

2. Sentences should be short and contain one idea.

3. Use bulleted lists when possible.

3. Include Testimonials

You may wonder how you get testimonials if you have yet to sell any copies of your eBook? Well, give your eBook away to friends and family and ask them for a testimonial. If you just sit there and assume that they will take an action, the bottom line is that they won't. You want to insert your call to action in the PS of your sales letter and also at the bottom of your sales page. Use key phrases such as "click here to buy now" or "buy now" or "take action now". All of these phrases should be used to have a strong closing to your sales letter.

If you want to make your ebook sell, then you will want to follow the tips in this article.

Good luck with marketing and selling your ebook.
